Starting capacitors
Starting capacitors are used for motors that require a high starting power. However, when the rated speed is reached, the starting capacitor is switched off by a centrifugal switch or a relay. We purchase our operating capacitors exclusively from the high-quality and well-known manufacturers Comar (plastic version) and FT Cap (aluminium version).
ATTENTION: STARTING CAPACITORS MUST BE SWITCHED OFF AFTER THE STARTING TIME, OTHERWISE THEY WILL BE DESTROYED. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE WHETHER YOU NEED A RUNNING OR STARTING CAPACITOR, ALWAYS CHOOSE A RUNNING CAPACITOR!
