Thermal circuit breaker

Thermal circuit breakers (automatic circuit breakers, fuses, equipment circuit breakers) serve as protection against overcurrent and short-circuit for loads such as motors, transformers, solenoid valves, on-board networks and low-voltage lines. Their tripping point depends on the level of the overload current.
As the current increases, a bimetal/expansion wire element is heated until the defined tripping point is reached and the device provides real galvanic isolation.
