Circuit breaker

Circuit breakers have thermal or thermal-magnetic tripping with particularly high breaking capacity. Circuit breakers or battery circuit breakers are also based on the thermal-magnetic tripping principle. The thermal part of the circuit breaker provides delayed protection in the event of an overload. The magnetic part disconnects the faulty circuit within milliseconds in case of high overload and short-circuit currents. All circuit breakers in this category offer true galvanic isolation.
