Bimetal temperature monitors are used in the electrical industry for automatic temperature monitoring. They limit the temperature of devices or parts thereof by opening - or closing - the (load) circuit in the event of overheating, for example to switch on a fan or trigger an alarm. Heat is usually transferred from all sides by convection, radiation or conduction in gaseous or solid media. The bimetallic switches then return to their initial position after a significant drop in temperature.
Built-in switch type S 0x, with insulation (Mylar cap), suitable for installation in windings of motors, transformers and coils. High-voltage resistant up to 2 kV, 50 Hz, protection class I VDE, insensitive to current, available as NC and NO contacts
